Choose Your Health & Wellbeing Word for 2025
At the beginning of 2024 I choose a word to focus my key health and wellbeing goals around. The word that I chose was ‘flow’. To me this word symbolised a few health and wellbeing goals.
The first was to consciously drink more water.
The second was to focus on eating more water soluble vitamins (e.g. B Vitamins and Vitamin C).
The third was that I wanted to learn to go with the flow a little more. As an ex-perfectionist, hyper-organised, business lady with three jobs I knew it was going to be a challenge but 2024 felt like my year to learn to go with the flow.
Selecting a word/theme for the year worked incredibly well for me. It removed the pressure that a specific goal can sometimes have. I couldn’t fail at it in the first few weeks of January because it was a theme for the whole year. When I forgot to eat as many vegetables or go with the flow I did not beat myself up. Instead, I choose to refocus each time I strayed from the path I wanted to be on. In doing so I was learning to go with the ‘flow’!
While I cannot say I am able to ‘go with the flow’, my friends and family have really noticed a difference. I am able to deal with change a lot better, people letting me down no longer feels personal and I worry less about the little things. I have also been super focused all year on drinking more water and eating more foods containing water soluble vitamins.
As 2024 comes to an end and 2025 begins it is now time for me to select a new word for the year. I will let you know in our January newsletter.
What is your word going to be for 2025?
Take the next few days to think about what you would like to work on in 2025 when it comes to optimising your health and wellbeing. Is there something you need more of or less of? Here are some ideas to get you started:

Want to optimise your health in 2025?
Many people set new year’s resolutions and yet more than half of people do not make it past the end of January before they give up. This is because they generally set unrealistic goals, too many goal or put too much pressure on themselves.
One of the top new year’s resolutions is to eat more healthy foods. While this is a fantastic goal, most people don’t actually know what foods are or are not healthy for them.
After working 1:1 with clients as a Nutritionist I decided to re-direct my focus into creating an online nutrition course with the support of the King’s Trust. I wanted to provide everyone in the UK with the basic knowledge they need to support and optimise their health through Nutrition. I wanted to teach people how to create a personalised way of eating and drinking that they could keep up long-term. I wanted to provide people with a clear place to start their health journey and that is why I created ‘Nutrition: The Corner Pieces’. These are the foundational things you need to know about food and drink to help optimise your health and wellbeing.
This course is suitable for all dietary preferences and can easily be adapted to suit any lifestyle. If you have any questions, please contact the course host Josie at thehealthpuzzle@outlook.com and you can find out more information, including FAQs over on the course purchase page by clicking the button below.
